  • No worries - it's been really interesting reading Australian comments in the last six or so weeks, the comments have almost universally been negative, I've read loads of calls for [player X] to be picked, dropped, recalled, sent home, replaced with [player Y]...

  • I too have no regrets about him leaving South Africa. He got a fair chance, he just wasn't good enough and wouldn't take instruction, so he's ponced off claiming racism to England where his style over substance approach fits in well with a nation that rates David Beckham as a footballer.

  • I think Smith's problem is pretty much the opposite of slacking - I think he's trying to do too much. He needs to share some of the responsibility with other senior players, but the few that fall into that category are either injured or unwilling.

  • It was great entertainment, but I think from a South African perspective it was really vital that we get the tour off to a good start after a torrid time in Australia - giving the local crowds some belief that we're going to be competitive.

  • Hopefully this is a turn-around in form for Graeme Smith and Herschelle Gibbs, and both Andrew Hall and Robin Peterson looked good.

  • When Sri Lanka posted 267 I though they had the VB Series all wrapped up. I had thought the same thing on saturday when Australia were 10/3.
